The Los Angeles Lakers are 0-4 and have no one to blame but themselves. After falling 0-3 fans across the country were blaming Russel Westbrook even though he wasn’t playing terrible. However, their last loss against the Nuggets the Lakers played horrible without Westbrook. Anthony Davis got absolutely embarrassed by Nikola Jokic and looks like he needs to be traded now before his stock drops anymore. The Lakers have put themselves in a terrible spot because they traded a lot of picks like this seasons first round pick. One of the picks they traded for Anthony Davis was this years first round pick that currently looks like a lottery pick. The reason this sis such a big deal is Victor Wembenyama will be the first overall pick this year and unless the Lakers make a huge trade, they will miss out on the best prospect since Lebron James and might even be a better prospect than Lebron. So, this means that the Pelicans will have two chances at the best basketball prospect in the last 20 years. If the Pelicans get Wembanyama the league should be afraid. A lineup starring Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and Victor Wembanyama will be the best team in the league without question. The Pelicans trio would be a better trio than Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant. This would mean that the trade everyone thought the Lakers won because they won a single championship would be a win for the Pelicans because they would win at least two championships within the first five years after drafting Wembenyama. The last time I checked two chamionships is better than one championship. That trade would then be known as one of the worst trades of all time because of the struggles the Lakers faced after they won their championship and the success the Pelicans would have from this trade. However, no one knows who will win this year’s lottery for the first overall pick or if Victor Wembanyama will be good or struggle with injury.

The Brooklyn Nets fall to 1-4 on the season. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are both playing at MVP levels. However, Ben Simmons playing like a bottom tier role player. Simmons has 28 points through 5 games while his teammates. Ben Simmons struggles are causing the Nets to have a rough start to the season. If Ben Simmons can turn his game around and commit less mistakes like fouls and turnovers, the Nets are real contenders.

Bulls win over the Miami Heat in the season opener. The Bulls had to face some adversity in the season opener when Zach Lavine and Lonzo Ball don’t play in the opener. Zach Lavine has hopes of returning soon, while Lonzo Ball has no current expectations on a return anytime soon.
